What did you dream of becoming when you were growing up? 👧👧From the moment I held my first Seventeen magazine - at the age of 13- I knew then and there that I wanted to end up working in the magazine industry.

What did you study in Uni? 📚📚
I studied Journalism and Media Communications at Rhodes University.

How did you become the Junior Beauty Editor at Cosmopolitan? 🎉🎉
I applied for the position and my beauty director, Juana Parathyras -who I'm so thankful for- believed I was the right candidate. P.S, Also thanks to my blog, All Things Nzuri.

What's a day like in your shoes as the junior beauty editor for Cosmopolitan? 💁💁
Wow... Uhm eventful and busy!

What are the Perks of your job? 💅💅
Getting to see and try out all the new, exciting and innovative beauty products that come in.
What are the cons of your job? 🐵🐵
Nothing really, probably just the hectic deadlines.

What are your future plans/goals in terms of your career? 😉😉
To be honest my goal at the moment is just to grow in the industry and build my career.

What advice would you give to fellow babes out there who are struggling with finding the perfect career for them/what to study? 📙📘
I say just be patient with yourself. Give yourself time to explore until you find a career that makes you happy. Don’t put pressure on yourself and be sure you’re doing it for yourself and no one else.
