I've been a fan of Nivea since two thousand and when I discovered it. I was on the market for a lotion that wouldn't leave my dry skin feeling dry again after only a few hours. For those of us who struggle with dry skin, you know the struggle is real to get a lotion that can truly last +- 24 hours. My search for the perfect lotion lead me to my current Nivea fave: the 48-hour moisturising cream. From the moment I felt it in my hands, I knew from the texture that it would get the job done - and it does. 

Since discovering it way back when, I've always stuck to it as y go-to lotion, never budging even if there was something newer and more attractive to try out. I just couldn't bear to put my skin through another trial and error phase with a product that promises nourished and moisturised skin for the duration of my day only to be dismally disappointed. 

Naturally, when I was selected to trial the new Nivea Coconut and Manoi Oil I had high hopes for the results it would bring because of my positive experience with the 48H Rich Nourishing Lotion I am currently using. I would say cue the suspense, but I think you already know how I feel about this new lotion. From the smell of the Nivea coconut and Manoi oil to the texture and how it leaves my skin feeling super-ultra-soft, it's a sure winner. 😍

Albeit a sure winner, I see it more as a "me-time" lotion. You know, when you've had your long bubble bath with scented candles or when you're getting ready for a black suit and tie event or a ladies night out, but not for day-to-day use. I guess it's because I'm a die-hard for the deep moisture serum the Nivea rich nourishing body lotion has. Truth be told, it's the soft luxe feel on the skin that this new Nivea provides that makes me regard it as a pamper yourself item. Whether it's for your day-to-day use (because who wouldn't want to start their day off feeling like royalty?) or a me-time lotion, it's well worth the buy.
