Dyeing ones hair has always been a great way to make s bold statement , switch up your current hairstyle or even just give your hair a bit of your own personality. Choosing the right hair dye is the problem.
I remember when I was the store looking for red dye for my hair ( weave and natural ) and I remember looking at all the dozens of options in awe. The question that pops into our heads when we’re choosing hair dye is if the dye will really come out. It’s painful and heartbreaking when you spend your money on hair dye only for the dye to have not even done what it was intended to do.

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THE PRODUCT ❤
The packaging is definitely something I’d have to give Clairol a thumbs up for. Most hair dye products are bombarded with different colors and really a clean and natural look is sometimes a good thing.

The product actually worked on dyeing my hair. I Chose the orchid color - something I regret because a bright color would've produced better results. Because my hair is a dark-ish brown the hair dye came out a dark purple. we all know how dark purple can look like black. People did notice however, which was great because I hate having to tell people I've done something to my hair only for it to go unnoticed by them. The texture of my hair changed too. it somehow felt more natural and I was actually not embarrassed that I have my natural hair on instead of my partially dyed burgundy weave.

Had I bleached my hair I am 99% sure that the color would've been bold and bangin'🔥 - take notes babes.
When I washed my hair, the color didn't come out tremendously. the water was actually quite faint with the dye.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THE PRODUCT 🙅🙅
When I would moisturize my hair - because my skin is not the only thing that gets super-dried out when the weather seems to be on and off - I'd have some color on the tips of my fingers, which meant I'd have to wash my hands extra hard.

Some people are in the dark about the dos' and dont's when it comes to proper dye etiquette. one most important rule that people need to understand is this :
The lighter the hair, the bolder the results.💣💦
You can see this by the expected color outcome picture that are situated at the back of the box.
Add a bit of extra time to the dye, the reason for this is only the first parts of your hair are left with the dye for the longest time. so either you make leeway for the time unaccounted for or your apply the hair-dye and then start the 30 - minute count down to the dyeing. It helps for better results and even-coverage of hair color.

My overall impression of the product is that it's good value for money and worth the buy.
